A New Hope - Julie Reeves new single has a catchy, if not sensual, sound that should catch on to radio in a heart beat and here s why: it s different, it s unique, it s really fun to listen to. I agree with one reviewer: country has fallen into the format/radio hit maker-routine and i m just about sick of it. Country radio has already ruined such promising taelents by not playing them like Kim Richey and, almost lost, Sara Evans. It shouldn t take an act of God to climb the charts, but a good song. Watch out for this girl. She came to my songwriter s night at BGA and many of those fabulous writers have written for her. This is only a samplin of what is yet to come.

Unique--very clever lyrics - Heard this song today on the radio & had to find out who it was. Julie Reeves is a new artist for me. I was quite impressed with the cleverness of the lyrics and it is musically different from the Stepford-Country I keep hearing so much of on radio. The artist & the song remind me of Matraca Berg. Julie Reeves is going to be one to watch for!!!
